Velocettes are a classic English motorcycle that have been owned, ridden and loved (and cursed) in New Zealand for longer than anyone can remember. There are over 270 Velocettes on the New Zealand register and probably more that are tucked away at the back of a shed or garage.

Velocettes have a reputation as a finely engineered motorcycle, that had an enviable competition record based on an advanced (for its day) overhead camshaft single cylinder design that won many victories at the demanding Isle of Man circuit in the 1930s and 1940s.

This web site is intended to be a forum for keeping interested people in touch with the loose knit community that now rides and maintains these classic machines.
